Having originally decided to sell our apartment ourselves, Deb convinced us that it was much more prudent to use her services to do so. Her argument was that she could obtain a better sale price than we could alone or any other agent could for that matter. She could not have been more right!

Deb maintained that she could target more potential buyers than we could alone due to her access to passive investors from her database rather than simply targeting potential buyers who were actively searching via the traditional advertising methods. She also claimed that she had a superior ability to negotiate a better sale price either before auction or at auction than we were able to. Before making our decision we spoke to a previous client of Position Realty who had also initially wanted to sell her apartment herself but who had decided to use Position Realty and was glad that she did. Based upon these arguments and the excellent reference we chose to use Position Realty to sell our apartment. Both of these claims proved to be true.

We had also been following Position Realty from a buyer's perspective whilst we had been looking for our new home which we bought prior to the sale of our current apartment. We noticed that Deb always seemed to quote relatively high prices, but amazingly she always seemed to obtain them too.

We then spoke to 2 other agents before appointing Position Realty. Both of those agents had quoted estimated sale prices $80-$95k lower than Deb. We have to admit that we were slightly sceptical as to whether Deb could achieve her target, but we decided to give her a go. We reasoned that we'd rather have someone who aimed high, even if she didn't reach her target 100%. You can imagine our delight and shock when she not only managed to reach her target, but then also exceeded it by $60k, and this was from an offer before auction! We could not be happier.

Throughout the sale process Deb's experience and professionalism continued to impress us. She suggested a lower advertising budget than both of the other agents we had spoken to, due to the strength of her database. This proved to be entirely true - we had numerous interested parties and issued more than 20 contracts within the first 2 weeks of viewings.
